Flexography is used in preprint applications .This process offers printing advantages but require certain levels of volume before it can be considered an option.There are many machinery alternatives available to converts and every convert is equipped a little differently.Sheets are fed through the cylinders and graphics are transferred to the corrugated board. This is also known as direct print.
Litho graphics can be incorporated into corrugated packing in two ways,single-face laminating or labeling the combined board.
Single face laminating.Top sheet can be laminated directly to the medium as the outside liner.Labeling combined board,a print sheet or label is laminated to corrugated boxes.The label be full sized.Full sized labels are laminated prior to convert spot labeling can be done after the box has been converted.
Digital printing is the most developing techonology.Because it is a time consuming process digital printing is used primarily for short runs os high graphics.
